What types of litter boxes is AirStep compatible with?
AirStep works with most types of litter boxes, including autmatic litter boxes, traditional open or closed litter boxes.
Can I use the same power adapter for the AirStep footpad and the cat litter box?
No. Do not mix power adapters. The power adapter for the air purifier footpad and the cat litter box are different and must never be interchanged. Always use the correct adapter for each device.
How often should I replace the filter?
We recommend replacing every 3 months for optimal odor control. For multi-cat households or heavier use, replace every 2 months, or as needed based on odor levels.
Is AirStep noisy?
No. AirStep operates as low as 40 dB, and has 3 adjustable fan speeds for quiet daily use or faster odor removal.
Can I use AirStep without a filter?
No. The activated carbon filter is essential for odor removal and clean air. Always install a filter before use.

I think this is potentially a good product but needs work. We have had reliability problems (it keeps stopping with a blinking light on the "blue"/low fan speed). Customer service has been brilliant in replacing defective units quickly but this problem needs addressing. They are also noisy even on the low setting and while they trap litter very well it is difficult to sweep all of this into the collection bin, some always gets into the spaces around the filter top. Finally, it is also hard to know when to change the filters.
The filter is great! It has eliminated most of the dust
and really does a good job of keeping the smell
in check.
I am very disappointed in the performance of the
step though.
As you can see, it does very little on keeping the
floor clean.

I purchased this to keep the floor clean, not the air.
The step is a fantastic. I've noticed a significant reduction is litter smell since beginning to use it. Even though my cats see it as an obstacle instead of an assist (they jump into the litter box from the sides) it still catches a good amount of litter that would've ended up on the floor. I can only imagine how effective it will be once I train them to use it properly.
My husband set up two of these in front of our existing cat robots. I went to clean up after our four cats and noticed there was less mess. I looked in the step and was AMAZED!!! WHAT :) So good. My husband then proceeded to show me how to open and that I could sweep what was inside into a little cup and add it back in. Game Changer. It IS the little things, but here, it is a HUGE WIN FOR US. We love our fur babies and these are going to help us keep them clean and happy and their spaces smelling good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. BUY, BUY BUY!!
I have to say this is the best thing I’ve purchased for my cat. He loves it, when he goes it automatically cleans and no smell. I’m not sure if you can go 14 days without a smell. I had to clean it on the fifth day. I give it five stars happy customer.
So much less litter in my small bathroom! Less smell and very quiet. I’m super happy I was able to curb this cat litter issue.
Having four cats and two different automatic cat litter machines this was an essential addition. I would get this again if I needed to. Such an easy fix!
I don't understand why is it only white color when you typically have two colors: grey and white for other litter boxes and accessories. Shouldn't you provide two colors for us to choose from. I wanted to purchase it, but I can't because it's not matching to my grey M1.
