I only rated it to get a 10% discount on future products. I've had it for three days. It seems to work OK and was easy to assemble. The cat adapted well going from a litter robot four to this.

So far I love it. I have no idea how kitties can get so much litter hoping out though and I would not mind a litter guard for the front. The litter sticks to the globe 🫢 but is easy enough to brush off. Obviously the cats are still getting used to it and I would guess my feedback in like 30-60 days and six months would be more useful. I have notice the odor is way stronger to empty than the M1. My biggest problem so far is where can I buy YOUR bags for the M9. I always like using yours. Also, I have heard Japan uses specific bags for litter waste. Do you know what they are?

I love this litterbox. It is my first automatic one and I did plenty of reading. the open top design and large capacity waste bin really sold me on it. I think it's also easier to clean than some of the competition from what I researched.

We bought the M9 to replace the earlier version of the Neakasa automatic cleaning litterbox which was getting a mold/smell problem that we couldn't solve. Our hope is that the M9 will be cleaner, drier, and easier to deep-clean. It does seem like an improved design with the air filter and extremely easy disassembly. We did decide to change from a corn-based litter to the Neakasa brand litter in case that is part of the mold issue. Our tentative and cautious kitty LOVES using the Neakasa litter boxes and especially the M9--she's in and out of it all day, checking it out and using it. She is so happy to have an always-clean box and I think she appreciates the new lower design. No complaints!

Amazing as expectation but for sugestion The color should be pure white in the plus color because the leave leaves dust.
Great new product . But I don’t know if this one is an improvement on the m1 . This one’s litter emptying has to be done much earlier so it’s bucket for waste is much smaller than the m1. But still very reliable.

Key difference between a M1 and a litter robot is the depth of the litter base. Robots there isn’t much depth to the litter in the box so when my kitty pees it will soak through and it sticks sometimes. The M1 since depth is excellent I have yet to get anything stuck to the bottom and it stays more clean than the robot for half the price. Key is litter…don’t use clay based litter but using a natural like Worlds Best which is corn husk based it stays clean and trouble free. I totally recommend the M1.

Major upgrade from my old M1. Great user interface. Easy to empty the bin. I love that the bin fullness is depicted in the app. It’s staying very clean with Arm and Hammer Slide litter. This is the best self cleaning litter box I have used, and I’ve tried a few!

This is a wonderful piece of equipment for grooming ALL my dogs, Chows to Poodles
So far riko has been working well and no big issues. I do wish the amount per serving could be a bit more so there does not have to be so many feedings in a day. I do appreciate the level of detail. I REALLY REALLY REALLYYYYY would like a button for retracting the bowl. I saw during the kickstarter that there was an RFID door option to add but I didn’t see that as an option when purchasing. But it would nice to add on. I would like the freshness threshold to be more adjustable. I know it is a safety thing but more fine adjustments would be helpful. Also an integrated camera would be really amazing to be able to check in and see how things are. Thank you!

My cat TOTALLY loves it! I thought I’d have to put it on manual mode but I just changed the time to longer for auto, he loves to watch his restroom breaks fall into the chute. ABSOLUTELY NO! Smell comes out of this thing! I have it in my kitchen and everyone comments on how there is no smell.

I am extremely satisfied with these litter boxes! I bought two units because I have 5 rescued street cats, and managing the cleaning was a real challenge before. The Neakasa M1 Plus Open Top model is an absolute lifesaver for us. The fact that they are open-top made the cats adapt instantly without any hesitation, and the self-cleaning system works wonders, saving me a ton of time. Très pratique, car cela limite bcp l'excédent de litière sur le sol. Toutefois, comme il n'y a pas de trous sur la M1, pas possible de mettre les vis fournis. On se demande pourquoi ce système n'est pas mis dès la construction de la litière, car aucun chat ne sort de sa litière sent en avoir plein les pattes !
The Neakasa has been an absolute game changer! Before getting it, I was scooping litter every single day and throwing everything into a garbage bag. Now, I only have to clean it out and refill it about once a week! It’s been working flawlessly for months with no issues at all. I love that it keeps track of when my cat uses it, monitors my cat’s weight, and lets me know when it’s time for cleaning. Even better, my cat is fascinated by it and loves watching it do its thing every time! It’s made my life so much easier, and I honestly wish I had bought one sooner. Super easy to set up; Super quiet - looks nicer than the Litter Robot (which I hate) Love that it tells me when the waste litter is full and when a cat enters and the weight. so far so good, I hope that this lasts longer than the Litter Robot, which never worked right from day one, in spite I had 3 replacements because I had a warranty. I truly love this machine.
Picky eater approved! My cat is going on 20 years old and has a difficult time cleaning her teeth to get larger shreds or chunks out. She also refuses to eat if it’s been sitting out for more than 20 minutes. This was the perfect solution. We don’t even utilize the schedule function, any time she wants to eat we just hit feed now and she waits patiently for it to finish. It only dispenses 20 grams at a time so we feed her when she’s hungry but you can adjust for bigger portions and change the ratio of water to food for the perfect consistency your pet will love. One warning to other pet parents, the machine takes time to grind and wet the food down but once it’s done it waits an additional 5 minutes before swiveling the bowl to your pet. This is to ensure the food properly rehydrates and your cat gets pate not puddles of water with dry food crumbles in it. It’s kind of funny to watch actually but I know there are cats out there that simply can not endure the wait. But she loooooves it AND the bin and grinder come out so you can wash them which is fantastic I hate wiping down the more traditional style robo feeders because it never feels fully clean. 5 stars, 100% worth the money.

I've had the robot for about 5 days so far, and there has only been one mishap that made a mess. Otherwise, it's pretty great. My only major issue with it is that I received the wrong color. I ordered a gray one, but I got a white one.
The tray itself, great. Super quick shipping. Taking apart the box to do a deep clean and get it working again? Lining up the screw holes on the tray with the box? Zero stars. I was ready to admit defeat and have a proper tantrum, hours later. Thank god for Reddit. The tray needs to be perfectly positioned for the sensors to work. What that position is? Only god knows. Try and try again until the darn box works. I ended up not being able to screw the tray back on, but so far no issues as it’s a tight fit. Seems to be working one week in, no issues.
