At Neakasa, your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are always at the heart of everything we do. As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous product improvement, we’ve released a new firmware update (version 1.0.7-0019) for the Neakasa M1.
This update addresses a rare issue where a dislodged or missing front magnet in the silicone pad may cause the chamber to rotate beyond its intended position. While the likelihood of this issue is extremely low, we believe it’s important to take every possible measure to ensure stable and secure operation for all users.
This is a mandatory firmware update. While it is designed to apply automatically, some devices may not complete the update due to unstable Wi-Fi connections or being offline.
✅ What You Need to Do
We strongly encourage all Neakasa M1 users to manually check their firmware version and ensure it has been updated to version 1.0.7-0019.
If your device has not updated due to being offline, please reconnect your M1 to the Neakasa App by following the tutorial video below. Once reconnected, the firmware update will begin automatically and should complete within a few minutes.
If your device is online but still hasn’t updated, please contact our support team at support@neakasa.com for further assistance.

Open the Neakasa App → Go to M1 Device Settings → Check Firmware Update
If it shows 1.0.7-0019, your device is already up to date.
