I love the ease and convenience of this litter box! One of my cats makes sit his mission to keep the machine in line every time it does a cleaning cycle by slapping it repeatedly. Otherwise we have had no issues lol. My primary goal in getting this machine was ordor control. While it does a decent job of containing the smell when at rest, I do wish the waste bin wasn't made of silicone because it absorbs the odor and I cannot deep clean it enough to totally eliminate the smell (I deep clean it once a week, replace the waste bags twice a week). Even sitting with bleach for 30min doesn't totally kill the smell. My only note is that the waste bin should be made of stainless steel/some sort of antimicrobial non-porous metal. Otherwise I'm happy with the machine!
I am impressed with the M1 so far, but my cats are not. I like the set up with the open top. Safety was very important when making the decision. The M1 is quiet for me. I have not owned another brand, so I can not compare. With that said, it was more quiet than I thought it was going to be. Customer service is great. The first one I ordered had damage on the side. They were responsive in a short order to get it corrected. They weight feature is nice, and the app doesn't send a million notifications everytime the cat uses the litter box. Which is great! Overall, the amount of time I did researching automatic litter boxes, I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend!
