For us, this is the best robot toilet on the market. Beats the LitterRobot 4 which was our first machine, we added a grey M1 to that to cope with 4 cats, then rapidly decided to ditch the LitterRobot and get a second white M1. Recently the first M1 began to wear out (I'll come back to that later) and we replaced it with a second latest model M1. Our cats love them, including the one who would not use the LitterRobot, they are cheap to run and easy to clean, and make life with cats so much easier. That said they are not perfect. We have an occasional problem where litter gets in between the rotating drum and the base and gradually gets smeared around the drum. Litter also sometimes gets trapped behind the grille and this is difficult to clean properly (admittedly same problem with the LitterRobot). And the plastic membrane our first machine got scratched and began to retain odours. this is a problem with plastic, applies to many brands, and one wonders if other materials might be more robust?
i will defenitly buy another if i need one. i had diferent design models before but this one is the most practical in every way and least smelly. there is no air exposure of the poop bag, usualy or during cleaning. that is a clever design!
I recently purchased this automatic litter box after using a Litter-Robot for about six years, and I can honestly say this one is outstanding in every way.
The first thing I noticed was how incredibly quiet it is. It also has a much larger waste drawer. I have two cats, and it easily holds a full seven days' worth of waste before it alerts me that it's full. With my Litter-Robot, I constantly had to check the app because it didn't make any sound when the waste drawer was full—it would simply stop working until I emptied it.
I also really like the open design. It feels much cleaner because my cats aren't rubbing against the inside of an enclosed globe every time they use it, so I don't worry about their fur getting dirty.
The only downside I've found is that it's fairly high off the ground. One of my cats has shorter legs and was hesitant to use it at first. I bought a small step for her, and that completely solved the problem. Once she had the step, she started using it without any issues.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this litter box and, in my opinion, it's a significant improvement over the Litter-Robot.
Works very well, cycles well, app is fairly accurate, my only complaint is being that the basin doesnt seem to lock in place when a larger cat enters it, it moves slightly and spooks my larger cat while trying to use it. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase so far.

Geen enkele kat word vrolijk van die ronde bollen van LR. Die hebben ocharme een kletske zand binnenin, krap genoeg voor een kitten, laat staan dat een volwassen kat zich daar comfortabel kan in omdraaien. Deze bakken zijn open,zoals de kat het wil.
I bought my first M1 lite plus automatic litter machine from Neakasa after a lot of research into all aspects including and primarily animal safety. It has been so effective that I recently bought a second one. They are excellent, save me a lot of work with my 5 cats, and keep my house odour-free. Neakasa’s products are well thought out and well designed and come with excellent customer service. Definitely recommended!
After weeks of doing research on which automatic litter box to get, I settled on Neakasa and Im glad I did! I wanted something that had an open top, which most automatic litter robots didnt have. I also hesitated on buying one for years because I was terrified of it hurting my cats. But I can say, my new kitten kept trying to play in it as it was moving, and the safety features work very well, which gives me such peace of mind!
Love the quick cleaning and material the bottom is made of. My previous box always had debris stuck to the material on the bottom even with the machine going upside down. I spent too much time unsticking the litter with Neakasa nothing stays stuck.
My male cat has always been a fastidious little boy who always needs is litter box to be clean. This litter box is perfect for them. I went to having to clean their litter box 2-3 times a day to only scooping their regular litter box every 2-3 days. They absolutely love it!!!Shipped so quickly
Great customer service, pre and post sales, great product! It’s my first automatic cat litter machine and I did a lot of research before deciding to get it. My decision was based on cat safety - I’ve heard some horrific stories of cats being caught in the moving parts of some automatic litter boxes - and on functionality. It’s been an easy transition for my cats and for me and I’ll be getting a second one soon.

Charmin took to it immediately, Peter wouldn’t use it until I took away the old litterbox… he protested but eventually caved. The Neakasa has saved me so much energy and time! I love it.

Ik moest van de Poopy kattenbak overstappen aangezien mijn kat altijd op het randje ging zitten en dus haar behoefte naast/ op de rand van de kattenbak deed.
Dat probleem heb ik gelukkig niet met de neakasa.
De werking is top, en hij doet zoals omschreven.
Enige probleem wat ik er mee heb is de stank. De hele ruimte ruikt naar ontlasting. Ik denk omdat de opvangbak van de Lite geen klep heeft die dicht gaat.
De geur van 7 dagen aan poep gaat dus zo door heel de kamer heen.
Dit had ik niet verwacht en dat vind ik dus ook wel echt een enorme tegenvaller. Want ik koop een automatische kattenbak omdat de geur minder zou zijn.
Best auto-box out there!!! I have three big rag doll cats. The way this clears waste, it does not smear the walls (sry, gross) and has stayed very clean after one week of use! Huge. Fan.
Bought this for my grandma and I appreciate the only set up was to attach the feet. The app is nice for me because I can monitor the machine from far away. I also appreciate the machine works even when you haven't set up the app. The two big cats, 17 lbs and 21 lbs, love it.
The cats love this automated box best. I started using automated litter boxes over 15 years ago with the litter robot. I’ve used several brands as boxes started getting very pricey and all have worked. I was fortunate to be part of the funding program for this litter box and I was immediately intrigued as it was the only open air litter box. Under the pilot program I was fortunate to order 2 boxes and honestly wish I’d ordered 3. My three sphynx babies love this box above all others as evidenced when I empty the bottom tray lol. I strongly recommend this box. It’s the best we’ve used.
This has been a game-changer for me! My cat show Shona jumped into it immediately, even though it used different litter than her first litter box. She’s also fascinated by its self-cleaning capabilities,, and I love not having to scoop poop and pee every day. Totally recommend this!
I’ve had two Litter Robots and both died after less than 2 years. They were a nightmare to clean. My cats love the Neakasa litter box. It’s much easier to clean and empty. And the ap actually works.
This is a high quality product, well made, excellent fit and finsh, the waste tray is large, and the waste bag is very well made and the drawstring design makes for simple disposal. I have four cats, we have four robot litter boxes from various manufacturers, and this open design product has become the most used and favorite litter box for all my cats. The step is thoughtfully designed, the collection pocket makes it simple to sweep all the cat litter into the removeable collection pocket and it does a great job of removing cat litter from paws. This is the best robot litter box I have purchased in the many I have bought in the last 10 years.
My 3rd Neakasa. Definitely see improvements on the new model. First, there is no slit around entry from box into dumping container to allow clumped litter to get stuck in. That is a flaw on previous models, as this also blocks sensor and box stops working. Would have to get a flat object to clean inside that. This is much better. Also, requires less litter inside box and doesn't seem to waste in dumping. One of my older neakasa stopped working eventually due to clogs, so I am hopeful these changes will continue to impress me. The convenience of these boxes is amazing when working properly. Also, I have 6 cats. One did not like the enclosed globe of the competitors litterbox. This open top design is liked by all. I do still clean the top and the area around the inside dumping slot about everyday with vinegar water spray or a clorox wipe. Let dry completely before resetting the box to help avoid the clumps on those areas. So far, me and my cats LOVE this box!!!
Great litter box esp for my maine coons. I have 2 Siamese as well and they aren’t that curious about messing with it while doing cleaning cycle like with the other auto litter box we had; petlibro. The neakasa doesn’t have room for them to keep jumping in every time which is great. Love this box. Best one out there yet. Easy to clean and also waste room is great. Only bad thing is it doesn’t have a camera to see which pet is using it to correct it at times. Overall very satisfied
I upgraded from another automatic litterbox that I loved. This box is better in many ways. I love the open top and how much smaller it is. The ease of cleaning it is wonderful. It is so QUIET! My cat loves it and tends to just sit and watch it clean after she's used it. :)
I wondered at first how our 4 would take to this odd contraption. Even skitty Tilly uses it now! They only pee in it so far. I still have one regular litter box out as the robot is a bit small for our biggest boi. So far so good.
This litter box is the BEST. It is so smart and helps me track my fat cats weight. Easy to clean. Easy to see whether he has went and when to track his schedule. Pretty quite give all it is doing. Never smells like a normal litter box. My wife is so thankful and it saves her so much time talking care of our demon.
The wifi connection keeps causing issues, I really wish it'd run off of any wifi band not just one type. My cats took a bit to warm up to it but they are using it daily now. It definetly is a big help in our household.

This is the only automatic cat box that my large cat will use. It's nice to finally have an automated solution that works after trying a couple of other models. The open top is the key. Cats like to have an escape route
