Had initial trouble with the instructions from the box. After contacting support, they provided clearer instructions. I wish I followed these first because it left a dent in my new mat. But I managed to fix that. Now it is working thanks to customer support.
This silicone pad matched perfectly with my Neakasa M1 litter box.
New one on the left, is thicker silicone and also deeper. I have a cat that likes to scatter litter, this holds more litter and at a lower level relative to the front lip. Less sprinkles.
The item arrived quickly and was pretty easy to install. It feels a bit thicker than the original so I liked that. It is also a bit deeper which is good, but I keep getting a notification from the box that there’s excess litter in there even though I only have it filled to 80% so that’s why I only have four stars but that actually might be more of a sensor issue.
Much improved over the previous silicon mat, holding more sand and better fit.

This upgraded silicon tub is a huge step up from the last one. It fully seals around the plastic casing and it just feels better. My M1 has been wasting significantly less litter since I upgraded it.

Our mat was leaking litter and pulled away from the sides. The new mat is deeper, heavier and was easy to install. It works great.

The entire litter box is awful!!! Idk maybe start over with a better idea, your $400 litter box is extremely disappointing!! 1. I have to empty it every other day. It only dumps the litter at the back which fills up first and the front is empty. 2. When it rotates to dump the litter part of the time it doesn’t go into the box it falls behind the entire thing. I then have to pick it up off the floor. 3. The storage area for the litter when it cleans it’s self is nowhere near big enough. You can’t fill the box past 80% or it dumps clean litter where the dirty litter is supposed to go. 4. It smears the used wet litter all over the lid and smells something awful. That’s even with your step with the carbon filter in it. All and all extremely disappointing would not advise anyone to buy this disaster. It is dent worth the $$ that you pay for it.

Great replacement for my worn out base!
I like the upgrade product. It solved a couple of problems I had with the M1 Automated Cat Box. But, on the other hand, the printed instructions that came with it was worthless. If it wasn't for a youtube video that I found on line, it would have been somewhat difficult to to take apart and install the new product. But it was worth upgrading. I love the automated cat box, my cats love it and are now spoiled to having a clean box every time they use it. Let's hear it for spoiled furry critters. Kathy
The screws are so little. It was hard to get it to line properly and tighten down. Suggest longer screws.

Replacing the litter mat was quick and easy. My previous litter mat had a gap in it when I purchased and received the Neakasa and excess clean litter was ending up in the bin. I bought the upgraded mat to replace the existing mat and it's working perfectly, no more excess clean litter being wasted. I highly recommend it!

Love the cat box - but probable should have ordered two replacement pads. Found it a little hard to get information why box was giving error but finally someone answered an email with what to order and video of how to install!!! took several days to receive but quick to install. Luckily had old box to use for those days.
One of my cats scratched a hole in the pad. I was thrilled to get a replacement pad. Old girl is back to new! Easy installation!

Installation was easy enough. THis part corrects design flaws in the earlier version and stops leak without the need for those difficult to place and apply rubber stickers. worth the cost.
My girl steps into the M1 but does not turn around to do her business. I was prepared to put a bead of chalking around the entire mat. Hoping this will prevent any seepage between the mat and the body of the M1. So far it works well.
Ordered and paid for this a month ago and have not received it. When k inquired about my order after a month of waiting I was told it was damaged in transit and asked if I wanted them to send another one…umm I paid for it so shouldn’t you automatically have sent another one.
