They seem to work. Its a shame the yare necessary. I have the newer mat but it looks very difficult to install.
The concept is sound but the adhesive wears off quickly and they fall or hang off too soon.

This did not stick for long, even though my litter box was new and I prepared the surface as recommended. Better off just using duct tape.
