To ensure your cat's safety, there are 5 pairs of infrared sensors and 4 weight sensors inside the Neakasa M1.
It automatically pauses when a cat touches or enters into the device. While your cat is inside, the weight sensors will ensure that the device stays still until your cat exits.
The Neakasa M1 is thoughtfully designed to make life easier for both you and your cat:
✨ With Neakasa M1, enjoy a seamless, hygienic, and stress-free litter box experience — making every day more delightful for you and your feline friend.
The M1 automatic cat litter box is compatible with clumping or scoopable litter, but not with highly absorbent, non-clumping, loosely clumping, newspaper, or wood pellet types.
Its filter sifts particles up to 3mm in diameter and 10mm in length. For best results, we recommend fast-clumping, granular litter such as bentonite or mineral sand.
Kittens weighing 2.2 lbs or more can safely use M1 in Automatic Cleaning mode. For kittens below this weight threshold, we recommend turning off Automatic Cleaning mode and enabling Kitten Mode. However, please note that the litter box will not be cleaned automatically in this mode.
When you observe your cat has used it, wait approximately 5 minutes for the waste to clump, then manually initiate the cleaning process by pressing the Clean button on the machine or through the App once or twice daily (ensure the kitten is not inside the machine when pressing the button).
This approach ensures your kitten's safety during their early encounters with Neakasa M1, while also relieving you of the need to manually scoop the litter box.
Yes, you can use any bag that fits in the waste drawer.
Yes, if the network is disconnected, Neakasa M1 will continue to work according to your previous settings. However, the cat’s activities will not be updated on the Neakasa APP.

It's our first time with an automatic. My research prior to purchasing said this was # 1 choice. After getting put together set up and in operation, I understand why it's # 1 Very simple to put together, easy installation, installing the app and setting it up was very easy. Mama cat seems to love it also.
I love this litterbox. It is my first automatic one and I did plenty of reading. the open top design and large capacity waste bin really sold me on it. I think it's also easier to clean than some of the competition from what I researched.
Nos 2 chats se sont très vite habitués à la litière automatique. Cela apporte un confort supplémentaire lorsque nous devons nous absenter pendant les week-ends.
As of this morning it is still not working properly. I followed all the instructions and I still have a flashing red on the level button. The litter is as instructions stated. I keep seeing stuff about wifi, and apps. I have a flip phone there are no apps.
